Conceptic Design works with ceramic in two ways. The CD1 and CD2 lines are traditional clay bowls with a glazed finish, available in several colorways. The 3D-17 is the unusual one. It's a ceramic bowl printed on a 3D printer, and no other bowl maker in this segment is currently doing that. Printing the ceramic lets them hit hole geometries and wall profiles that hand-formed clay simply can't reach. The 3D-17 holds 17 g and comes in Blue or Black. Conceptic has shown their work at Hookah Club Show, and the engineering side of the brand is part of the pitch.
Conceptic Design bowls are phunnel-shaped, which makes them friendly to both dark leaf and lighter Virginia blends. The center hole keeps molasses inside the bowl, so wet syrupy mixes get the long sessions they deserve without juice running down the stem. The 3D-17 (17 g) is sized for a standard solo session of 60 to 90 minutes. The CD2 line has a glazed interior that stays neutral between blends, so you can switch tobaccos without flavor carryover. Nothing in the Conceptic range is locked to a specific mix style. They're designed as general-purpose tools.

The signature technical play is ceramic 3D printing. The 3D-17 model uses geometries that aren't possible with conventional hand-forming. They've shown their work at Hookah Club Show, and the brand is positioned as design-forward rather than tradition-driven. CD2 is the classical pick. Glazed clay phunnel, multiple color options, behaves the way you'd expect a quality ceramic bowl to behave. If you want something that just works and looks clean on the hookah, CD2 is the safe choice. The 3D-17 is for people who want something different. The printed ceramic has a distinct look and feel, and the geometry is harder to replicate. It also holds slightly more (17 g) and comes only in Blue or Black. For a first Conceptic bowl, CD2 makes more sense. The 3D-17 is the one to add when you've already got a few bowls and want something with an identity.
The glazed CD2 series is easy. Warm water once the bowl has cooled, no soap. The glaze doesn't absorb molasses or aromas, so a basic rinse after the session is enough for daily maintenance. If you've got stubborn buildup, a soft brush handles it. Stay away from wire scrubbers, the glaze is durable but it can scratch. The 3D-17 cleans the same way. The one rule that's non-negotiable: let the ceramic cool fully before water touches it. Hot ceramic plus cold water means microcracks, and microcracks become cracks. Store dry.
