DarkSide is a well-known producer of quality hookah bowls with refined geometry and reliable heat performance. At Hookahteka.com you’ll find original DarkSide bowls in our Warsaw store, with delivery across Poland.
Our catalog features various models of DarkSide bowls — from classic turkish styles to phunnels and killer bowls. Each format has its own packing characteristics. For long sessions with lots of tobacco, choose phunnels. For short, intense smoking, classic bowls work best. For overpack and fruit bowl styles, opt for larger volume models.
When selecting a DarkSide bowl, consider your smoking style and tobacco type. Lighter tobacco varieties pair well with smaller bowls and thinner walls. Strong dark leaf tobaccos work better in larger bowls with thick walls that retain heat. Also consider HMD compatibility — most DarkSide bowls work with standard Cyborg, Kaloud Lotus and similar devices.
We ship DarkSide bowls from our Warsaw warehouse with careful packaging to prevent damage. Orders are processed within 1 business day, courier delivery takes 1-2 days. Local pickup at our Warsaw store is also available — see the bowl in person before buying.
To keep your DarkSide bowl performing well, clean it after each session — use a soft brush or scraper to remove tobacco residue and syrup. Don’t wash with hot water immediately after smoking — let it cool first to avoid cracking. For deep cleaning, use specialized hookah cleaning solutions.

DarkSide bowls are ceramic, and the D-series covers several shapes with different capacities. The D-Phunnel is the flagship: 78 mm tall, 77 mm diameter, 12 mm bowl depth, 7 mm spike height, 18 g capacity, ceramic phunnel build. D-Classic, D-Shot, and D-Micro come with a silicone gasket fitted to the stem, which removes the need for the usual rubber grommet and stops the bowl from cracking on installation. Some models are available glazed or unglazed depending on preference. The ceramic is matched to DarkSide's own dark leaf tobacco line, so the bowl and the tobacco were designed alongside each other.
DarkSide is primarily a tobacco brand. They make heavy Burley-based dark leaf with a high nicotine load, and the bowls are built to handle that. D-Phunnel (center hole, molasses retention) is the natural pair for their Base and Core blends, which are wet dense mixes that run 60 to 90 minute sessions without juice draining out. D-Killer with its flat thick base and multiple holes delivers harder, hotter heat, meant for the heaviest dark leaf that needs the temperature. D-Shot (10–12 g) is the short solo session bowl, around 45 minutes. D-Micro sits at 16 g, between Shot and Phunnel. If you smoke DarkSide tobacco, these bowls were paired with that flavor profile in mind.
DarkSide is a Russian company best known as one of the leading dark leaf tobacco makers in CIS and Europe. The bowls are produced in Russia through their authorized partner network, and the official brand site is trythedarkside.com. They're one of the few manufacturers building a real synergy between bowls and tobacco. Each D-series model is sized for a specific smoking style with their own blends. DarkSide bowls sold through Hookahteka in Poland come with full authenticity guarantee and warranty support.
It depends on session length and intensity. For wet dark blends like Base or Core with a long session, D-Phunnel is the call. Center hole keeps molasses in, you get 60 to 90 minutes without losing flavor to the stem. For a short, intense solo with minimal tobacco use (around 45 minutes), D-Shot at 10–12 g packs fast and heats fast. D-Killer is for experienced smokers who want max strength with heavy dense blends, and it needs careful heat management. D-Micro (16 g) sits between Shot and Phunnel. D-Phunnel pairs cleanly with Kaloud Lotus. D-Killer wants a more attentive HMD setup.
Dark leaf tobaccos like DarkSide Base leave more molasses residue than lighter Virginia blends, so regular cleaning matters more here than with other shishas. Let the bowl cool, rinse with warm water. The silicone gasket on D-Classic, D-Shot, and D-Micro pops off. Clean it separately so it doesn't trap residue. For D-Phunnel, use a soft brush around the center spike. That's where molasses concentrates. The glazed surface doesn't soak residue in, so warm water without detergent is enough. Same rule as everything else ceramic: cool first, then water. Hot bowl plus cold water cracks ceramic regardless of how durable the glaze is.
