Crystal flasks use crystal glass that's noticeably clearer than standard. Smoke and water look better in crystal than in regular glass. Crystal can be slightly heavier than regular glass depending on the composition and wall thickness. This is mainly an aesthetic choice for someone who cares about how the hookah looks on the table during a session.
